My husband and I like to make lassi ourselves from time to time. Every time he would ask if I want it sweetened or salted. SALTED??? It's pretty difficult for me to imagine how a salted lassi taste. He made once and I tried. It comes out pretty good, especially if you do it with plain yogurt.
He told me that salted lassi is actually better for health. For this I Google a little bit:
